Meet Jack

Jack Arnold is the president of JR Arnold Consulting LLC, a firm specializing in aviation investments and management.

In 1982, Jack received a double B.S. in Aviation Administration and Professional Pilot Technology with honors along with a Minor in Business Administration from Indiana State University, was president of the aviation fraternity and was awarded an internship with the Indiana State Aeronautics Comm.

Starting his aviation career in the military, Jack is a former USAF officer who served as a F-4 Fighter Pilot with 10 years of military leadership and discipline. As a flight leader, Jack was the “Team Leader” and specialized in training pilots to execute the flight mission very precisely and safely, with great attention to detail. Critiquing and debriefing their performances provided instrumental feedback to ensure continued improvement.

He is currently an American Airlines captain with over 35 years seniority and holds captain type ratings in the Boeing 787, 767-757, MD-80, F-100. He also holds FAA CFI, CFII and CFMEI instructor ratings.

In addition to piloting commercial aircraft, Jack co-founded the aviation staffing company JetPro Pilots in 2008 which provides crewing services for small, privately owned aircraft up to large body aircraft owned by Fortune 100 clients.

Jack also helped manage and has flown for many corporate flight departments throughout his aviation career. He has assisted business owners and managers in all aspects of corporate aviation, from critiquing charter scenarios to buying airplanes and setting up flight departments.

Jack has authored several articles and has been published. He has been involved with the local community holding such positions as Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Transportation Comm., and board positions on several volunteer boards. Jack is also the originating founder and President of Children’s Hope, Inc. a local Fort Wayne, IN not-for-profit charity. In addition, Jack organized an American DreamFlite with American Airlines, a charity flight for children with cancer or leukemia which took children from a Fort Wayne hospital to visit Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
