Jack
Arnold is the manager of J.R. Arnold Consulting, LLC. A firm created to
assist individuals and corporations in making various aviation decisions.
With over 25 years experience in the aviation industry, Jack has also
helped manage and has flown for many corporate flight departments throughout
his aviation career. He has assisted business owners and managers in all
aspects of corporate aviation, from critiquing charter scenarios to buying
airplanes and setting up flight departments.
He is a former USAF officer who served as a F-4 Fighter Pilot with 10
years of military leadership and discipline. As a flight leader Jack specialized
in training pilots to execute flight missions very precisely and safely.
Then critique and debrief their performances while motivating them to
improve.

He is currently an American Airlines Captain at O’Hare international Airport, with over 17 years seniority and holds FAA Airline Transport Type Ratings on the Boeing 767, 757, MD-80, F-100. Jack also holds FAA Certified Flight Instructor Ratings for basic instructor, instrument instructor and multi-engine instructor.
In 1982 Jack received a B.S. in Aviation Administration from Indiana State
University with Honors, was president of the aviation fraternity and was
awarded an internship with the Indiana State Aeronautics Commission.
Jack has authored several articles and has been published. He has been
involved with the local community holding such positions as Chairman of
the Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee. Jack also has served
on several volunteer boards.
